Scholarship questions

What is the CSC scholarship?+

The Chinese Government Scholarship is funded by the China Scholarship Council (CSC). Full CSC awards usually cover tuition, on-campus accommodation, medical insurance and a monthly living stipend.

When should I apply?+

Most scholarships for the September intake open between November and April. Applying early gives you the best chance, as university quotas fill up quickly.

Do I need IELTS?+

Not always. Many English-taught programs accept IELTS or an English proficiency certificate from your previous institution. Chinese-taught programs usually need HSK. Requirements vary by university.

Can I apply for more than one scholarship?+

Yes. Your counsellor can help you apply to several universities and scholarship types at the same time to improve your chances.
